Mycena flavoalba (Fr.) Quél. syn. Marasmiellus flavo-albus (Fr.) Sing. Gelbweisser Helmling Mycène blanc et jaune Common Bonnet. Cap 1–2cm across, bell-shaped with prominent umbo, the margin becoming upturned and wavy as the cap expands, pale yellow with darker centre, distinctly lined when fresh. Stem 15–30 x 2–3mm, white to pale yellow, rigid. Flesh thin, white. Taste mild, smell radishy. Gills adnate, white. Cheilo- and pleurocystidia fusoid, thin-walled. Spore print pale yellow. Spores ellipsoid, nonamyloid, 6–8 x 3.5–4um. Habitat on lawns. Season later summer to late autumn. Frequent. Edible but not worthwhile. Found In Europe.
